New every morning
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23
Jeremiah wrote these words in the middle of real grief — this isn’t a verse about everything being fine. It’s a verse about mercy arriving again, every single morning, regardless of how the day before ended.
Nothing about yesterday’s failures disqualifies you from today’s portion. His faithfulness doesn’t run out; it’s renewed before you even ask for it.
A simple prayer

Lord, thank You that today is new, not because I earned it but because Your mercy made it so. Meet me again this morning. Amen.
